This water purification system has several functions and features that make it very useful for different types of applications. One of its main advantages is that it works under the pressure of tap water, which means that it does not require an external power source for its operation.

The purification system includes various levels of filtration and demineralization to ensure maximum water purity. First, there is a 5 µm sediment pre-filter that retains the largest particles. The water then passes through a sediment-carbon-softening module A, which removes additional impurities and softens the water.

The next step is demineralization in a mixed ion exchange resin which ensures that all impurities and unwanted minerals are removed from the water. Finally, the purified water passes through a 0.45/0.2 μm microfiltration capsule to ensure the removal of any remaining particles.

The system features automatic and unattended operation, which means that constant attention is not required for its use. In addition, it is equipped with a pump that increases the pressure of the feed water and a pressure storage tank of 10 dm3.

The device also has monitoring and protection functions to ensure its correct operation. It is equipped with a conductometer that measures the conductivity and temperature of the water at different stages of the purification process. It also features a color display with a touch panel and a built-in RS 232 connection to personal computers.

In addition, the system has several protection functions, such as stopping the pump when the feed water pressure is too low or the tank is full, thermal protection of the reverse osmosis module, and automatic shutdown of the system when the temperature of the feed water is too high or too low.
